About Ricky...

Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the most important man in our families life, Ricky Taylor. He was a husband, a father, a son, a brother and brother-in-law, an uncle, a coworker, and a friend to many. He lived 59 years on this Earth and stood by a set of principles that guided him in life: family first, be kind, and have fun.

Ricky enjoyed a simple life. As an example, he made Brenda promise to bury him in jeans and a t-shirt-- not a suit he never wore. Ricky was a collector- and he never met an item he didn't need to collect. Some people refer to it as hoarding, but Ricky always knew something would be worth money in the not so distant future. His retirement savings is stashed in the attic in the form of every stuffed animal his kids ever had over the years. His soon-to-be vacation home was funded by all the broken parts from cars that he decided to keep in case he needed it one day- even if the car was older than any of his four children.

Rick is survived by his wife, Brenda. His mother, Neva and step-father Ray. His four children, Travis, JR, Amber and Cassady. Two grandchildren, Bryce and Willow. His brother, Bobby. Countless nieces and nephews, cousins, And his two dogs, Lincoln and Ruger. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Ella Mae and grandfather Johnny. And his three beloved dogs, Tina, Trigger and Trina.
